About this site

I moved to Torphins in July 2008, which I hope was the last move. I was involved in setting up the Stonehaven website in the mid-late 90's, a community project funded partly by the national lottery. My involvement for that site ceased with my move to live in Paris in 1999.

With my return to the UK and move to Torphins in 2008, I started this website to serve the village of Torphins and its surrounding area as a general resource. Torphins.org is my personal project although all contributions, information, links, guidance and comments are wholeheartedly encouraged and welcomed in order to keep the site active and interesting.
