This is in accordance with government policy on open space and recreation, and will help them to gain an overview of open space provision.They particularly welcomed the views of local residents on their findings. It is difficult for example, to conclude how useful and area of open space is from a one-off visit during the day; and there may well be issues they have missed, be unaware of, or simply been wrong about.
